Three Games to Watch Outside of Atlanta

Ah, gimmicks. I'm getting this one out a littler early because, well, one of my games to watch this weekend starts in a little more than an hour. So, without further ado, here it is, three games to watch this weekend.

#4 West Virginia at Maryland: Thursday, 7:30 p.m., Sure, any time the Big East and the ACC play, there are a lot of people who will look to the defectors and say, "Really?" Especially this year. I don't think there is a question who will win, I think it will be whether or not Maryland can keep it close. Last year, the two met in Morgantown and the Mountaineers dominated early and often. They've scored a bunch of points early and even the Fridge has admitted that Maryland's option is to outscore them, not to try to out score them.

Notre Dame at Michigan: Saturday, 3:30 p.m., [insert maniacal laugh track right here].

#22 Tennessee at #5 Florida Saturday, 3:30 p.m., I am really interested in this game only because of the importance of the SEC Championship on the national championship scene. A one-loss team can still get into the NCCCG. While Georgia may have shot itself in the foot last week against South Carolina, the loser of this game still has a chance on the SEC Championship and a BCS Bid. Florida can get back to the NCCCG, the Vols can't. They would love to be spoilers though.
