Either BC lobbied hard or they drew the divisions for Pitt and Syracuse out of a hat and we lucked out, but looks like the Orange will be joining the Atlantic when they finally get released from the Big East in 2036.

Three other notes:
  • That dream of getting rid of VT as our yearly crossover? Not going to happen.
  • The ACC will be moving to nine conference games to make sure that it doesn't take a twelve year cycle to have home-and-homes with schools in the opposite division.
  • Suspiciously absent from the official release: the year in which this schedule will begin.
Until then, see you in Sunny Syracuse in 2014...or 2015...or 2016. At least it'll be every other year after that.
