My thoughts and mild guarantees:
- With about 95 % certainty, UConn, based on geography, hoops and its academic ranking, is going to be the next team into the ACC.
- A divisional realignment will absolutely happen, reuniting the 2003 version of Big East + Virginia. Sorry 'Hoos. Thus, basically, it's a playoff between the Old Big East and the Old ACC for a major bowl spot.
- I wouldn't be surprised to see a lifeline for hoops to keep old rivalries together and get the league 16. Probably Georgetown or Villanova (with the idea that 'Nova could go FBS if ND caved and joined a conference).
